hey guys I was reading in the owners manual and it talks about the little red light on the instrument panel... it lights up fine when I start the car and then turns back off...but from what I read that it is supposed to start to blink when you get out of the car and lock it? am I right or is there something I am missing... In the manual it is #12 in the book in the section about the instrument panel...can someone please help me...I did get the rearview mirror lights fixed though.

SRT4s come with Sentry key but i think the alarm portion does not :roll: :wink:

You buy the alarm seperately from Mopar, which refers to the light.

Without the factory alarm option, the light's main function is for the sentry key immobilizer. It'll blink if a non-programmed key is inserted and tries starting the car. Also comes on when communicationg with the SKIM module using a DRBIII scan tool
