Hey guys I know there are posts about this but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. So I have the stock tune and no boost controler. Mods are full 3in exhause, a/f gauge, bfmic, cai, and the mopar bov. My stock wastegate was holding about 12-14 psi. So I purchased the Agp stage 2 wastegat with the 8psi spring. Now I'm overboosting 25psi plus. I've checked and rechecked my green and black vacuum lines, removed the batter cable to reset the pc. And I have tried to adjust the wastegate. I have the wastegate are screwed the the way in and it slips over the flaper with out a problem (no preload). If I loosen it the wastegate with be open. Is this wastegate just not ment for pcm controlled boost ? Do I need a intune with a custom tune for this wastegate ??

Yes I actually had to take the locking but off the screw it in far enough to get the flapper to close all the way. At first I wasn't boosting till like 4.5K and even then it was 20lbs.

I tried to pull the wastegate arm out by hand and it's really hard. I'm starting to wonder if MODERN sent the wrong one or something. Or my solenoid just went bad. Idk

Im sure youll find your answer but I personally would call Modern or AGP bc they will help.

Wondering if the PCM needs reset maybe? (asking bc im a newb as well and will have this same WG) Also I read that if you dont have a staged PCM one vacuum line needs capped off.

I tried unhooking the battery to reset the pcm but no luck. I have really no idea about capping off vacuum lines. I did just order a new vacuum harness to be 100% sure nothing is leaking. Everything is brittle this time of year in jersey lol.

I guess it's time to give modern a call tomorrow and possibly by and intune !

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to get after this thing tomorrow. I didn't think and 8psi wastegate spring would be that much different but I seriously can't even pull the arm out. I can get on it with a screw drive and move it but can not by hand.... and the fact that I had to unscrew the "I" that hooks on the flapper and remove the lock not so I could screw it in far enough to get the flapper to close. This is with zero preload.
