If you don't mind tuning you can make more power with the 50 trim than you can with the S3. That's the biggest difference between the two is S3 is plug n play while the agp S4 takes a little finessing and tuning to get it good.
AGP offers pretuned maps for the DTEC so it sets you in pretty close to WOT conditions. If you can piddle around with a gameboy the DTEC is very very very user friendly. Just get a wideband and tune away! BUT with the upgraded wheels for the s3's now they can make some serious power. BUUUT we had a fellow member dyno his 50 trim with stock head/block and he made 471/500something TQ with a hotside pipe blowing off......If you are seriously interested in the AGP stage4 let me know. 50 trims can handle a lot of power ;) -Nick
no im not looking for serious power.. its a daily driver.. im not looking to dump a ton of money/time into it.. just something with a little more balls but can still be driven everyday 350-370 range would be PLENTY... i just came across that and didnt know anything about it.. something to play with some of the big boy v8's out there
If you're a damn good driver you could run 11's with under 330whp but you have to be extremely good with your car. 11 second passes are just about enough to circle around anything on the streets these days. Oh yeah, and 330whp can be done with basic boltons and an E1 or SST
Then just get an external dump manifold, e1 turbo, and some fuel mods and then you will have a SUPER fast spooling turbo, pleynt of power (right around 350 or so) and capable of an 11 second pass ([email protected] hit 11.9 with teh e1 and fuel mods/dtec/windage tray/billet gears I believe)
so is this kit worth the money if your tryin to get around 500h
agp hp61 sleeper kit for 500 and supporting mods i.e. headwork, cams, lots of fuel, etc.

The statement above will get you near the numbers you are looking for! My current set-up is in my sig and I am in and around the 320whp and 330wtq (on dynojet). With that said I am running with the stock exhaust manifold which is the bottleneck right now for me. With the manifold I would probably gain 20 hp&tq. But remember that tuning is a very big thing when making aditional power.
feel free to PM me if you have other questions.
Also, I am currently looking at going big turbo so the E1 will be up for grabs shortly.
The dtec basemaps are GREAT! I am so glad that they send you them so you have something to work off. It made things so easy.
I think alot of ppl underestimate the 50 trim. I have a buddy who has a agp 50 NON ball bearing.. Every supporting mod, Stock block, stock head, with alot of time, an kink working.. he is making over 500 (race gas) no water meth! I know you don't want this much power, But the 50 trim is very versital. So I think it is a awsome turbo. Mine takes to long to spool!
