I was going to get an 05' for about 23,000 fully loaded, however when my Camry was totalled I switched my order to an 04' and lost the rebate and also had to pay the commercial shipping charges since it wasn't shipped by the military. Also got under-coating and the extended warranty. Ended up paying $23,731 total with no rebate and the extra shipping cost. I also didn't get any options. I am glad I didn't now. Sunroof = problems over here and the audio system, well... I already had a full aftermarket setup from my old car that was totalled. Your quote sounds about right if you are getting an 04'. Oh, the side airbags feature will not come with your SRT-4/VIPER style seats. The airbags are built into the seats and are not the same. If you like the other seats (SRT-4/VIPER) style, then don't get the airbags on the side. Joe loves his for comfort and I'm sure safety, but I like the VIPER style seats myself. They cost a lot more to get the side airbags too, so that's probably where your extra cost is coming from. I almost had to get the side airbag seats, but they were able to find the last of the 04' models with the ones I wanted. If I had to get those seats I was going to buy new viper style seats on ebay, but I ended up not having to. Good luck. Talk to Paul Howson at Vogelweh. He won't dick you around. Later, Chris

Expect to pay a little less than the sticker price for the car with whatever options it comes with; i.e. if an '05 with side impact airbags normally costs $23,500 you will probably pay $23,000.

And don't forget to use your orders to ship it if you haven't brought a car already (!!!) and turn down the owner's protection package - those might be why it's so high too.

Tack on about $1000 for mine for commercial shipping to GERMANY! I don't think zodracing realizes we all live in Europe. Yeah, I could have gotten mine cheaper in the USA, but we aren't as fortunate. I would also have done better if the rebate wasn't expired when I bought it and if the military would have paid for shipping. It was already on the boat, so I couldn't do that. Oh well. I am still happy even with the price I paid.

I disagree. I have a buyers offer that clearly has a rebate for cashback on it. It expired Aug 31st or (end of Aug) 04. Don't know when it stareted, but I have proof that they were giving a rebate. If you go to exchange new car sales website www.encs.com and login and lookup cars it too will tell you about the rebate and when it expired.

I think it was for the returning warfighters. I remember when I returned from Bosnia (trip number 1 out of 3) and bought my '96 Sunfire I had to show a copy of my deployment orders and they knocked $1,000 right off. Then I got them to knock another $1,000 off. Then the guy drove me to get my plates from Friedberg to Giessen, and pretty much handled EVERYTHING, even yelling at the insurance company to lower my rates a LOT. That's the reason he was like USAREUR "Dealer of the Year" so many times. I remember he used to take a Polaroid of all the cars he sold with their owners and they literally FILLED THE ENTIRE WALLS. And that was just for that year. Eventually he wound up in Puerto Rico wunnign the AAFES NCS there. Good guy. Even emailed him to ask about the dealer selling me my SRT-4 and he said he was good dude so I went with that dealer on his recommendation.
On a side note, got drunk with some AAFES NCS dealers this weekend in Frankfurt. They were over from Ansbach. Good guys. They said the SRT-4 was "insane". And there was a hottie woman with them who is an NCS sales rep from somewhere either in Giessen or Friedberg. I gotta find that woman again...brains and looks all in one nice package.
I'm sorry, what the hell were we talking about again?
