Have any of you noticed that the A/B (not sure what it's called) Pillars on the car start turning an orange/rust color? I'm talking about the two black plastic strips inbetween the front and rear door windows. Is there any way to clean them or what?

I had the same problem.. there is an easy fix. Mother's Back to Black works like a charm. its less than 5 bucks at wal-mart. It also does really well on window trim if you've got wax on it.

Along w/ UV damage i think the discoloration of the pillars is due to the oils on our hands. The places that were looking crusty is where i put my hands when i closed the door.. just an observation.

those pillar covers are black anodized aluminum. They are sensitive to harsh cleaners with low pH. You shouldn't be putting your hands on them anyway, thats what the door handles are for.
