A CD for us?

(I originally posted this in "What will you listen to"...thought it would be more widely seen under a seperate topic - please forgive the repetive post!)

Through all of the posts to this topic, I came up with the offbeat idea to put together a kind of "SRT-4 Mix" CD containing most (if not all) of the songs listed in this thread. How cool would it be for us all to have a copy of "our songs" for that first drive out of the dealership? I work at a radio station and could easily mass produce such a disc. I guess my question to everyone is this...would there be an interest if I were to throw something like this together and charge a nominal fee for shipping and the cost of the blank CD?

That's a pretty cool idea. Actually, I downloaded most of the songs because I hadn't heard a few before. Great choices.

Cool -- I'll start making up a mess of discs. Which do you think will be ready first, the car or the cd? :wink:

mmmm waspie love korn!
i have several korn posters and a hat a wear every day (cause its frikkin cold in ohio!)

if its loud and it gets you moving, i prolly listen to it

I bet ya the CD will be finished first. Watch, we'll all have a copy of the cd, but no SRT-4 to play it in. We'll all be sitting in front of our computer screens pretending we're listening to korn in an SRT-4

I think since he works at a radio station, he was proposing, making a cd of the songs and sending them to us at cost of shipping and the cd. Sounds good to me. I'm in.

When you come down to pick up your SRT 4, let us know and maybe the Tampa people can meet up to pick up the cd from you. :lol:

Absolutely! Today I downloaded all but a couple of songs mentioned in the previous thread. I'll start burning discs tomorrow or Saturday...

You are correct Grunge, that's exactly what I was saying...

Mail or personal delivery...doesn't matter, either way.

The list is closed due to length and even so I doubt I will be able to fit them all on one disc. What I'll end up doing is prolly dropping songs from repeated artists (sorry Rush, Korn, AC/DC, Mettalica fans...lol) I'll fit as many as I can on a single disc.

Great googly moogly drizze, you rock! I'm extremely impressed with what you just did on such short notice! I'll see if I can't get that to my printer for the cd's.
