ITS CALLED NITROUS!!!!!! anyways. ill let you know soon. my buddy will be running a 60 direct port with a 100 shot throught the entire intake system to cool it down. and no he's not crazy, he just knows how to use nitrous. i am expecting him to run around a 12.2 or so with this setup maybe even hit 11.9 with a good set of tires. BTW, hes stock with spring mod and ran a 13.6, so he can drive very well. time will see.

My best time at SAR in my '04 was 13.8 at 107 with a 75 shot NX wet kit. Had a hard time hooking up, though, and was getting 2.4+ 60' times. If you want, I think a bunch of us are headed there tomorrow night for test and tune from 6 to 10. I have a black '04, gimme a shout!

just so you know, generally any amount of spray you put through a turbo or sc motor you will double at the whee;ls. NOS's nitrous kit for instance measures the power at the wheels, so theyre 50 shot wil lmake 50 hp on an n/a car thats stock, obviously more if you have air mods, and on a turbo car expect betweenm 95 and 105 whp from a 50 shot

I know of some people running a 2003 SRT-4 with a 65 shot. I think they've got 04 injectors, a new WGA and that's all that's done to the motor. They've run 12.0 on slicks (no interior, it's a dedicated race car).

Ya, but your forgetting his buddy's not crazy, he just knows how to use nitrous

let me clear it up. it would be fucking retarded to spray a wet shot into the turbo. infact i would love to see someone blow themselves up that way. the 60 direct port will, obviously, be a wet shot. the shot into the intake will be a dry shot. BTW, he's owned over 30 cars including 11 turbo's, sprayed massive shots on about 20 of them, and never had any problems due to the nitrous. id say he knows what he's doing.

Ok that makes more sense the way you put it at first made it seem like he was using wet shot all the way around.

I know that people have used a fuel injector as an anti lag system before and thought maybe he was hoping to try that just in a bad way.

I myself am all for N2o I think it's great and that to many people have a bad view of it cause of myths and seeing people that do not know how to use it right.

heck there a guy on the shore that runs 55-75 wet shot on stock older neon, focus and think he gonna start using it on a civic. gives the car enough pep to win some money and don't cost much at all to use.

jst to clear something up, you mean hes gonna run it jt after the turbo not before, running it before would be stupid, ut it this way, a turbo gets hot, over 1000 degres F, nitrous comes out at approximatly -125 degrees C, meaning, that turbo, will kill itself.

now, his best bet for that setu pis directly infront of the intercooler inside of the piping, a small shot but itll be more concentrated and help to cool the air down, almost like increaseing the efficiency of the intercooler by alot. spraying the ic itself is fine too, but inside youll notice a better gain, and ofcourse whatever nitrous isnt disolved with the air wil lmake it into the intake giving that bit more hp aswell.
