So last night while I was doing a pull from 2nd (being as it’s “boost season” currently) and I hit my 21psi and normal power band, but when I peaked in 3rd gear it peaked and then wouldn’t rev past 5k and then I had no throttle response until I put it in 4th and dropped the rpms substantially. The silicone tubing from the turbo to the inter cooler has grown a substantial “bulge” in it and is protruding out words from the clamp there. Maybe that has something to do with it, possibly old tubing or too much psi for those tubes? Someone help me out please.
I did some testing, and I’m thinking it’s over boosting and it’s fuel cut. Anything under 21 it’s fine, but as soon as I hit 21-22psi, it cuts and does the same thing. It’s fuel cut.
