4th of July???? What is everyone doing?

Well last year we blew $1000 on shit that went boom and had left overs for new years (Randy remembers). This year we plan on doing the same thing but you will not want to park your car on the street. So.... who would like to show up and enjoy the show? I will have the BBQ up and running all you have to do is bring somthing for me to burn. Then when it gets dark we start the mayhem (evil laugh). I do want to limit this to PTP customers and there kids/sig other for reasons that we do have a limit on how many we can hold in the front yard. Now the parking thing we have to figure out but there is a church up the road (may not be a good idea) that we can park at and shuttle everyone back with the suburban (holds 9), or you can just walk from the church to our house since its close. The reason for not parking at our house is that amount of debris that falls from what we light off is crazy (both our cars are covered or in the garage) so if you want to take the chance you can and park down the street.

List starts here and I can garrentee that you will enjoy the show.

1. PTP
2. PTP's wife
3. PTP's little one
4. PTP's middle one
5. Goku (family?)
6. AEMpimp
7. bonin
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.
13.
14.
15.

I will problably stop it at 30 people since that is just about all we can hold in the front yard comfortably.

I would be there Johnny but I will be in Oregon for my best buds wedding. Have a great time and blow some shit up for me.

Are fireworks still legal in your neck of the woods? I've done big stuff up at my parents the last 4 years (about $2500 last year) worth of stuff, but Brier banned fireworks effective this year.

I will have to say yes until I know more. I have not heard of any restrictions on this but that doesn't mean that it will not happen. Still sparkler bombs are easy to build.

I just seen them putting up a sign that said something like

"If it Goes UP or Blows UP its illegal in the state of WASHINGTON"

I might make it John. I have an open invite every year to the Family Lake in Black Diamond where the neighbor is a retired Pyro tech but it gets a little lame since it seems I'm in charge of all the kids because I'm lighting off fireworks too.

Is the catch to this that we all have to come back and help clean up???

Nope we clean up that night. Last year me an the wife cleaned most of it up so no need for anyone to bring a broom. I will have see what they have to offer at the stand this year but I doubt they will be handing out tickets for shit blowing up (kind of hard to ticket everyone). Or neighborhood is a regular war zone every year so there is a good show in every direction that you look. BBQ, drinks for the kids (BYOB if your drinking) I will have a cooler with "coolers" for the women and other then that all the chips and drink you can diegest. We will have lots of hot dogs for eveyone as well but if you request something special (big fat steak, pork loin, crazy chicken) you will have to bring it and I will burn it for you. If you want a year off this might be it. Last year it was constant for over 3 hours, not a 10 second break from shit going up in the air. I had to stop due to it getting late so I had a bunch left over for new years. Getting the same one this year and a few other that really go "BOOM".

Sounds like you're going to have a good time John. We used to be able to do the firework thing, but now since we live in Tacoma and my parents moved to Puyallup, we'll have to find a place to go. Anyone been to the waterfront on the 4th? Since we live 10 minutes away that might be an option . . .

Yes the water front is great, take a bus or walk. 2 years ago we did it and we wish we would have gotten a hotel downtown. It took 3 hours to get out of seattle.

Now I forgot to mention that the local church (yes that says church) has a show that lasts 15 to 20 minutes and its big stuff like the water front. We could hit that then come and start our show. Either way you are garrented to have a good time.
If I can talk my girlfriend into going, I'll make an appearance.
The 4th in the middle of the week should be outlawed

Sorry a off topic rant.
i still think homeboy from california should call in sick and trot up to covington for the day.
