ok so i have had my srt for a little over a month now. And some times when i shift in to 3rd it was to grind. it only does it like every 2 or 3 times. But if i slam it in it goes fine. I have adjusted the sifter and messed with the clutch a little bit. all of the other gears go in smooth. I did search and read threw a hand full of threads.

also it does it when i down shift in to 3rd to. Just wanting some opions be for i go get her rebuilt.

^That can help sometimes, it all depends on how it is messed up and how bad. Usually double clutching and rev matching will help it go into third alot easier on downshifts. You won't know how severe it is until it's torn down but you are probably looking at the normal 3/4 stuff (synchro&clip, fork and maybe the 3/4 gear) Try the 3rd gear shift extender to get you by for a while. It's like $100 which is way better than doing trans work right now.

double clutching and rev matching helped me tremendously but to help out even more once u do fix ur synchro or even before, is relocating the wire harness that is ran behind the clutch pedal i tucked it under the dash with some tie straps that extra 1/2 inch of clutch travel helps.
