Information for Participants and Spectators

WHAT IS THE LX & BEYOND NATIONALS?

Founded in 2008, and based in Ohio, the LX & Beyond Nationals is the ONLY drag racing, car show and entertainment event in the United States completely dedicated to the Modern MOPAR Muscle and Performance vehicles. A grassroots event that began in Spring '07, as a meet-and-greet in a restaurant parking lot in Columbus, OH.

This annual event hosts hundreds of die-hard enthusiasts and aftermarket manufacturers from California to New York, from Canada and everywhere else in-between. Enthusiasts interested in showing off their cars, testing its performance limits on the 1320 and learning what is new and available in the aftermarket attend this event every year. The event is open to the public and dedicated to the continued growth of the car hobby. If you own an LX/LC/LD-platform or any SRT performance vehicle (or in the market to purchase one) this is an event you want to attend and see what the cars and the culture associated with owning one is all about.

This event has two purposes, which we firmly stand behind:

  • Provide an industry-leading event for the modern Mopar commmunity that is exciting, dynamic and unlike other automotive events
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the car hobby, by bringing together modern Mopar musclecar and performance vehicle enthusiasts from across the country in a family-oriented atmosphere. This includes the aftermarket manufacturers, vendors and frontiers that support these vehicles.
The LX & Beyond Nationals continues to grow each year because it's a necessary alternative to owning a late-model Mopar (LX/LC/LD-platform or SRT) and being put into the corner of other "All-Chrysler", "All Hemi" or "All-Mopar" events. These cars deserve their own spotlight and time to shine. Since our beginning, attendees have graced the pages of some of the industry-leading magazines including: Mopar Action, Mopar Muscle, Performance Auto & Sound, Domestic Driver, Mopar Enthusiast and Urban Racer Magazine.

We are MOPAR enthusiasts just like you and enjoy being apart of this family/culture; and owning an "LX & Beyond" vehicle. In addition to the looks and performance, the camaraderie of owning one is what fuels our passion for creating this event each year. We look forward to seeing you at the 2011 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS!

Get ready for 4th Annual LX & Beyond Nationals!!!

Lost of updates to post up soon. I apologize for the lack of posts up to this point. There has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes that have kept me busy and offline the past few weeks. Cliff Notes version: track auctioned, looked for a new location; hotels; etc, track sold to someone interested in keeping it as a race facility , waited for paperwork to finalize, reserved hotels, reserved date with track, Modern Street HEMI Shootout Series details finalized, etc.

Needless to say its been a busier than usual off-season. Now its time to get some trash talking going on and get ready for some fun. Stay tuned to your favorite forums and the 2011 LX & Beyond Nationals threads. I got a whole bunch of updates to post up. Its gonna be a kick ass 2011!!!

-Anthony

Announcing the “HEMI Heritage Shootout Series”

Announcing the “HEMI Heritage Shootout Series”
June 8, 2011

The LX & Beyond Nationals has always been and will continue to be about the Modern Mopar and performance vehicles of the 21st century and celebrating the rebirth of the muscle car era that has been sparked by the innovation and pioneering vision of the designers and engineers at Chrysler Group LLC.

We also recognize and appreciate where the DNA of many of our favorite modern Mopars came from and why the names “Dodge Charger” and “Dodge Challenger” immediately spark thoughts of a famous Hemi Orange car jumping thru the air to avoid being captured by an also famous sheriff, or an Alpine White car racing from Colorado to be delivered to San Francisco.

This year we are adding the “HEMI Heritage Shootout Series” to the racing events of the LX & Beyond Nationals. All 1966-1978 (B-body) first generation Dodge Charger and 1970-1974 (E-platform) first generation Dodge Challenger vehicles, all engines (must be Mopar-powered) and all trim styles are welcome. We look forward to celebrating the beginning and the future of the Mopar muscle car era at Quaker City Motorsports Park on July 16-17, 2011. Race details will be posted later this week on www.lxandbeyondnats.com
