2 different boost readings.. trust who?

So my stock boost guage and my greddy profec B are reading different boost levels. It seems like my boost guage shows about 3 lbs less than the greddy. Which one should I trust?

trust the stock gauge. all greddy sensors seem to be off. mine is off 1 PSI up to about 19 PSI, then about 2 PSI from there on up.

My Greddy is off by a few psi as well. I just turned the alarm on the Profec up to about 28 psi and leave it there so it never goes off.
I don't have any personal experience with the Greddy stuff, but I will note that my stock boost gauge just died. I was suspicious about it for a while now, but over the last week or so it's ALL messed up. 30" of vacuum, vacuum with the engine off, and boost reading low. At this point I'd trust boost computed from the stock MAP more than I would the stock gauge.
I don't know what the deal with the Greddy is specifically, but if you have it hooked up to the green line and it is getting it's reading from there, it will be higher because there is pressure drop from the intercooler and whatnot. Otherwise I'm not sure..
my greddy is getting its vac/boost reading from the intake manifold black line.
Sure Glad I Left My Car Stock So I Have None Of These Problems Lol
Actually my stock boost gauge was showing 2psi lower than it should. And I've noticed that the stock boost gauge is not accurate on other SRTs too, even to a search on here and you'll see, so before you say anything is off, compare to another boost gauge first,

What does that have to do with anything if the STOCK boost guage is messed up? For all you know your gauge is off too.

that would be a good way, but the greddy has a pressure sensor. The MAP is only shown in volts.

yeah of course if you have a bad boost gauge thats going to be a problem...then you have TWO boost readings that are off...the assumption is you *&[email protected] works.

Factory boost gauge.. sucks.. Get a digital one.. Works much better..
i think the factory gauge is a lil off. the reason why the greddy reads different is because it is a more accurate gauge due to the fact it is digital. i do not trust my stock gauge anymore
the difference between the greddy E01 gauge and the DynoTune digital gauge is about .7psi.

the greddy sensor is .7± from our DynoTune Boost pressure transducer.
so what exactly did we learn here because i am having the same issues right now...... do i trust the greddy or not...
my stock boost guage and greddy e01 are different by 1psi. sometimes 2psi.

So was mine...i installed the SRT 30/30 electric gauge and it proved that my stock gauge was off by 2psi.
well accordign to what i am seeing i am still off after replacing it with the autometer 30 psi gauge
