if you've got coilovers, those will definitely fit (with adjustment).

40s are also a closer fit to the stock diameter on 245s fyi.

ok ya coil overs

thinking of running nitto 245-45-17 DR's front just looked at specs they "seem" fine spec wise

and 245-45-17 nitto extreme tread pattern alot like the DR's specs very close

if i remeber nittos run a touch smaller for there size then other tires of that same size

any thoughts?

Vector what wheels are you running? I have been looking for a set of wheels that I actualy can afford in 17X8. Seems everything is 17X7 or way to expensive for my budget. Oh well maybe one day Work Emotions will be on sale for $129.99 lol

Nate

well its down to 2 wheels

17-7 ASA R1
17-8 ASA R1

both in silver

8 has a larger lip and looks alot nicer IMO

179-189 each not really cheap but not $$$$

I saw the 17-8 on silver scoobys car and the lip looks nice i just dont remeber his tire size i know his car was slamed low and it would very lightily touch the rear fenders somtimes fixed by upping the dapping on the coil overs

anyways i have been looking at wheels for the srt-4 now for weeks its the womans car and she is pickyer then i thought *sigh* i was kinda hopping to just get Koise K1's

Cheap, light and effective but next thing i know someone cough cough showed her some Work vs-xxs or something LMAO they are nice but not at 600 a wheel

you have to run an 8" wheen to get a 245 tire safely mounted. with coilovers and raised up to stock height, a 45 series tire should fit in there nice.

245/45/17 is just too tall of a tire.

However there is a member here that runs 17x8 5zigen FN01R-C wheels with 245/45/17 Nitto drags and claims no rubbing issues.

Too bad the search function is fuxored and I can't remember who it was.

fwiw- my buddy is running a set of 255s on his stock EVO rims...and stock they came with 235s.... and it doesnt not stick out that bad at all.

it comes down to the make of the tire also...his 255s are some crazy azz tread pattern falkens I think...

just pointing out that its not always a numbers game.

on that note...I would REALLY like some side view pics showing the difference in offsets...like 35-40-45. Ive read EVO77 tire faq thing...but Im a visual person.

im thinking 17x7, 18x8, or 17x8...just dont know what offset to get for that "flush" stock look. car has stock suspension

yes and the nitto tires tend to run smaller then other companys so
245-45-17

so more like a

240-42-17 lol from comparing the size's to all the tire rack sizes

ill post up later my findings for you all

235-45-17 that silver scooby ran is 25.4

the 245-45 nittos DR are 25.7
