07 Mopar Nationals, Columbus Oh

Hey everyone, I'm still kinda new to the forums, but the Mopar Nationals are coming up here on August 10-12th here in Columbus Oh. There is a cruze-in here in my home town of Reynoldsburg firday and Saturday night on brice rd. (kinda a big thing) as well as the racing at National Trails Raceway in Hebron Oh. Last year there were a group of conquest owners there. The conquest of the srt-4 of it's day only a little more hardcore stock, for it's day. There were a number of guys racing srt-4s against v8 mopars and holding their own last year. if any one's interested I be willing to organize an event here for srt-4 guys....

The main offical cruse-in is in hebron oh, but the traditional, and still large turnout is here in reynoldsburg, google maps.
there are plenty of parking lots for groups of people and cars to meet up. the reynoldsburg cruse-in goes from about 8:00PM til the cops shut down the road. and thats for both friday and saturday night. Let me know what else you'd want to know. I don't really have anything planned as I have no idea how many people are interested.

nothing big, just a gathering of modded cars. there are 3 or 4 other srt-4's up there most of the time. you should check it out sometime. i dont know an exact time but i went one time at about 9. apparently they meet there and all drive somewhere else but i've never gone anywhere with them. i actually saw a viper srt-10 headed there today. so there are all kinds of srt's

Let me know if you all get any sort of event together. I am trying to organize the LX platform folks and planning to be there all weekend. Planning to hit all the cruises as well. Not trying to hi-jack your thread, just interested in meeting fellow Mopar forum members.

this thread is more of a feeler to see how much interest there is, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be all that much. I've got a few responces.

You all are more than welcome to hang out with us if you don't get a large response. Just keep an eye on either the "Charger" or "LX" thread for the latest info.

Ill be there with my dragster for sure. I was last years quick 16 winner so I gotta try and defend the title. Still debating on bringing the srt4 its kinda a long way for me but hey its the nats so yea it might happen!

i've go a enough replys to start atleast plan a place to meet.
there are 5 for sures and a maybe from this thread, I have a few more local, about 7-ish that said they'll be there

Ok decision time! The srt4 will be there! Oh and so will my parents srt8 charger, not sure yet if we will hit the streets for the cruise and hang out but definitely be at the track! See you guys there!

im SO pumped for this. what day is the best day to come? i was thinking saturday then i was thinking why not all 3! any suggestions, this is my first time to the track racing my OWN car so what do you guys think?

Wow.... last time I was to the Nats in Columbus was ....'87 (!!! 20 years ago -- God, I'm getting old!!)? Crusing Brice and/or just watching from the sidelines was a lot of fun. National trails was packed. Back then I had to borrow my brothers Challenger... Too late to make this years event. Maybe I will have to put it on the calendar for next year.
