Hey hey. So it looks like I've had my account long enough to post in here now. I bought #140 a few weeks ago in Hondo TX from an older guy in his 70s. Been pretty good condition so far, all I needed to replace was the dash. Oil and tranny fluid changed. The only thing I've noticed is that the shifting feels a little rougher than when I got it. Took it to a shop and they couldn't find anything wrong outside the shift linkage bushing but they replaced that. Overall super happy with the car, cosmetically it's spotless and the powertrain is pretty good. Bought at 22.5k miles, now hitting 24k.

Transmission is the weak link on the SRT-4, as many of us have found out. There are a variety of issues that tend to pop up. When mine got to about 30k miles, I started getting a 3rd gear grind. At almost 80k miles, 4th gear needle bearing ate itself. Fixed it, 21 days later the transmission let loose and blew fluid all over the road and smoking off of my exhaust manifold, so obviously didn't fix it well.

In better news, WELCOME! We'll get you added to the list on the next update :)

There's a Commemorative at IAAI Insurance Auctions with hail damage in Denver. Not sure the # but I ran the VIN thru Dodge's equipment listing and it's a legit Commemorative.

1B3AS66S05D252259
I'm reasonably confident in stating that this would be 059/200, given that my VIN ends in 269, (069/200) and others ending in "2XX" seem to line up as the 001 to 099. I'm not so confident about the 100 to 200 numbers.

I'll update 059 at my next edit.

I had to spend close to 3 hours tonight reviewing pages, private messages, and updating the html on the main list, because for some strange reason, the last update disappeared.

As such, there very well could be some mistakes or missed information, please review the list as best you can and let me know, I found a few bad links due to missing quotations or tags I didn't close, and fixed them, so there might be more needing fixing.

I spent some time locally talking with a few car guys, had an interesting discussion with a Pontiac Fiero guy. They have a national registry for the guys who are very serious about keeping their Fieros forever, and in the best condition possible.

I've given some thought to potentially going that route. But it would be a little different from this list. This would entail our names, locations, contact info, probably have its own website. The personal info would be limited on the website obviously, probably narrowed down to what a person is comfortable with sharing. It would also be a lot more work, I'd have to be updating more than once or twice a year haha. The Fiero guys do things like newsletters and get togethers and such.

Anyways, it's just a thought I was having, especially tonight, with fixing the list. If for some reason the forum went down, I have all the info saved, but it wouldn't mean much even if I moved it to another forum because all of the user names are tied to this forum.

Let me know your thoughts.

030/200 Spotted Again

030/200 For Sale In Crestwood, Illinois

I've seen it for sale in a couple other places over the last couple of years. Not sure if it just keeps getting picked up by other dealers, of if someone has actually bought it then traded it in again.

This has the SRS seats (non viper), Kicker sound system w/ 6 disc changer (I know how much you guys still want that haha).

The car has both keys, owners manuals (leads me to believe the second manual may be the commemorative booklet that came with all the CE srt-4, rams, and vipers), so someone took pretty decent care of the car.

The ad itself made me chuckle... usually you see a lot of mistakes, like "overdrive transmission" or "cruise control" on SRT-4s that do not have that. But because this one came in with the original Monroney sticker, they typed out everything verbatim directly from the sticker, right down to leg, head, shoulder, hip room in tenths of inches LOL.

One issue I have is the condition report, you can see from one of the photos that the driver's seat has wear and tear, and damage, but they list the seats as "Excellent". That one seat alone, because it is the driver's seat, would be "Fair" condition.

But, I digress, mine sits in the garage not moving, so I'm probably being judgemental haha.

Last Known Location 070/200 Lincoln, NE

For future reference.

Interestingly enough, this was one of three CE SRT-4 at the dealer where I purchased mine. When I got into this list, I started an unwritten rule and stopped adding cars that we spotted, instead only people who joined the forum and owned one.

I think given the rarity of a car they only made 200 of, that anytime we spot one now we should update them.

152/200 Found

Very low miles, 1600 to be exact. It sold for 26k, rather high but then you won't find one like this. I'm wondering if the guy owns the other two (Viper/Truck) commemoratives? I left a message on the site with this information, I noticed nemiro commented also.

s3*ps2 found this, so kudos to him. The car in question is 132/200. It was purchased on Sep 24th, 2005, in Orlando Florida at Orlando Dodge. Apparently the owner's son originally bought the car, then realized he'd never be able to use it (seems to mention medical issues).

Wow, 3 of them? That might be the most owned by anyone, I know a couple of people had two.

He's a little off on his numbers, if I remember right, high octane mode on stage 3 is 355 hp @ 5200 rbm, 365 lb ft, and 310 hp/325 lb ft on 93 octane. But, he may be talking specifically about his, I noticed a BFMIC, usually indicates more than just that >:)

040/200 Rhode Island Was On Craigslist

$7500, and the listing was removed by author about 5 days ago, makes me think it got sold, based on what the owner said in the ad:

Description

QR Code Link to This Post preface:

READ THE ENTIRE AD!!!! A LOT of pertinent information is included in this description.

If the ad is up, the car is available. Inquiries asking 'available?' will be ignored.
Review ALL pictures as they are part of the description.

I will absolutely, positively NOT allow 'joy-rides', 'test drives' or (basically) anyone to drive this car unless they have the CASH in hand and are prepared to BUY at the time of 'viewing'!

Serious buyers will include their phone number. Responses without a number may be ignored.

For driving time and meeting purposes, use the Burrillville Police station address. We'll meet there before going to my residence.

Description:
Selling my '05 NSRT4-CE for $7,500.00 (Seventy-Five hundred dollars) Many consider the NSRT-4 as 'The Mini Viper'... I can see why. This car is VERY fast. I haven't abused it nor pushed it to anywhere near it's potential. This is also a limited production car from Mopar. There were only 200 'CE' (Commemorative Edition) Neons built. This car is number 40. Dash plaque and Vin match. This is a collector's car. Of the 200 made as CE's, this car's combination of 3 particular options (airbagged seats, Kicker speakers and power sunroof) makes it even more rare (1 of 56). It's not quite 'garage queen' condition, but it's definitely clean and in great condition both mechanically and bodily. I drove the car back from Florida without any issues and it shows as a rust-free southern car should for being 14 years old.

This car has:
Full mopar stage 2, including Agp wastegate, 3 bar map sensor, stage 2 pcm,3 inch downpipe, o2 bung to prevent cel, 3 inch exhaust from turbo back, BC fully adjustable coilovers with camber plates, mopar short throw, enkei 17 inch rims. newer tires (205/50R-17 FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500 XL) upgraded intercooler, hard intercooler pipes, *REAL* Greddy type S Bov, hid headlights, LED cluster lights, oem kicker living loud speaker system, RB1 headunit, cobalt 30 pound boost gauge. No tranny grind and has booger bushings. The car has two issues which I was told about AFTER I gained it's ownership about a month ago. I was quite disappointed that these items weren't disclosed before I invested in the car and positively want to insure the next owner is aware BEFORE deciding to proceed further.

(1) It's a clean title car with undetermined miles due to a cluster swap by the previous owner. The low mileage IS supported by carfax which I can supply upon request, in person. I was TOLD the car has about 60k 'actual' miles on it. The odometer reads 46,200 right now.

(2) The pictures I was given (three of which I've used in this post -you can tell which 3-) show the car looking absolutely gorgeous. There are some clearcoat issues which aren't seen well in the 'full car' photos. I've included close up pictures for your assessment. The interior is in great condition (Seats, carpeting) except for the headliner. A 'full window' rear view mirror was installed at one time and the headliner was cut into. I have a (used) replacement in original condition.

I was told the sunroof motor is no good and was given a replacement motor, which I will forward with the car. The stereo has navigation and the CD is included. But there's no GPS antenna. I might have one, but haven't checked. The stereo's screen doesn't illuminate at times even though the radio is playing. I haven't investigated why.

It has a full size spare (as opposed to the 'donut' it originally comes with) in the truck's spare tire holder area, on an OEM rim. More pictures are available and can be sent upon request of legitimate buyer.

Reason for sale is my recent acquisition of a Viper and I've simply got too many vehicles with not enough garage space. I'm nearly 50 years old and this car is simply not 'my style'. The wife likes it, but she's partial to the Viper too. So, this one should move on. The RI State inspection is good until 2021. The exhaust tone is loud in my opinion, especially upon acceleration and it does 'pop' upon rapid deceleration. I could go on with this description but I think I've included enough pertinent information to sell this estimated $11k collector's edition car for the low $7500.00 price. Note that this is a one of 56 NSRT4-CE. I don't want to hear KBB or NADA values for comparison. They don't account for the CE notoriety or rarity. They also don't account for the Stage 2. Recently, one of these CE's with low-low miles in EXCELLENT condition sold for about $25k. Now, I understand that my car isn't in the same condition as that one, but that's just to give an idea of what kind of vehicle we're talking about here. Thank you very much for reading this entire ad.

I met the owner of #79 today, one of the unaccounted for cars. It's very much alive and well and in very nice shape! It's one of the Canadian cars. From Alberta originally but in British Columbia now.

I can also confirm that #60/200 is in Colorado Springs alive and without undercarriage damage. the Listed damage by the carfax was a cracked oil pan. i went with a friend to pick it up out of New Mexico in early April 2018. it is now under ownership in Colorado Springs and i know the owner was tossing the idea around of selling.
