Im pretty sure fresh ideas like this are dead in the water, the way things are going for the big American 3 now, especially if Chrysler merges with GM. Look for the big 3 to be churning out yawners and de-balled snore-machines for cars when the Viper's and Challenger's production runs are up. They'll try to mimic the vanilla flavoring of Toyota and will fail miserably, putting the final nails in the coffin in the American auto industry. Which is too bad, because it looks like GM will fail before it can bring the Volt to market, which would have been a big turnaround for them. At least it will make all of our cars instant classics a-la Studebaker, DeLorean, etc.

It is official that GM and Chrysler are not merging. The last time the economy dropped and gas prices were an issue they started making engines smaller and using forced induction. This car would fit the market for the time.

If the Demon were to make it to production, it would be built in either Japan or China.
