Well, it's time. The Neon SXT is up on craigslist

https://omaha.craigslist.org/cto/d/o...898068652.html

And now I need to get in gear and find all the vendors for rebuilt T850 transmissions, yahhhh!!! (fake enthusiasm).

Related: When did craigslist start charging people to sell items, I had to pay 5 bucks to post that add, and provide all of my personal information...

Makes me miss my 2001 model. I would guess that at some point they would? I dunno. I have not used it lately.

So ya, the T850...

No car. Searching... Found it!

are you serious? I guess that is the final nail in for craigslist.
This is why facebook market has taken off. It is now a necessary evil.
You can use let go or offer up but facebook seems to be better because everyone uses it.

Yah, I've got to dig up my old info from last year and try to find the numbers from the two businesses I talked to that rebuild the transmissions. If anyone has ideas on that, I'm pretty sure I'm out 2 grand no matter who I go with.

I don't have facebook nor will I ever go back to it (2012 deleted it). I hope with all my being that Facebook f'ing dies, or at least goes down for a full 30 days, to watch the idiot social media fools lose their minds.

No offense to those of you who like facebook, but it isn't good for anyone in the long run.

Google SRT-4 transmission
found these:
https://www.maperformance.com/produc...yABEgJ7zPD_BwE
https://www.tmzperformance.com/srt-4-neon/

Expensive, maybe, but I can't bear to see a CE that is a non-runner.
And one of these may be a solution for your case.

Google found used offerings for a lower price.
But they may be even riskier.

Good luck, man!

And just when you think the prices are bad...

You start looking at the options and the price just sky rockets... I was hoping to get this for right at 2k but hell it appears nearer to 3k, they better have DAMN good warranties, like 3 years for this shit.

So... the black Neon sold, $2999, father and son showed up, I think the kid was about 20, couldn't stop grinning. I did a great job on that car, if he takes care of the general maintenance, should go for at least 3 years without anything major.

3k sitting in the safe, the sale of an entire car to offset the likely cost of one transmission haha.

Okay, I'm getting set to purchase a pickup-hitch style bicycle rack, needs to be able to hold 3 bikes, and from the looks of things, most of them that size hold 4?

Anyone have any experience with this, and if so which one would you recommend? Hoping to get something that doesn't bounce all over and make a lot of racket.

Give SARiS bike racks a look.

I've got the Super clamp EX 4 bike.

It's not cheap but worth it, my opinion. Especially if you've got some $$$ invested in bicycles.

Easy to load/unload and holds the bikes very secure.

Cheers!!!
