Default wideband question

what should my wideband be reading? its reading around 14 to 15a/f and alot of my friends told me that i should be between 11 and 12s. Is this a dangerous ratio to be at?

At idle and normal driving conditions you should be reading stoich which is between 14.3 and 15.1 15.2.

You dont want to go above 12's at the redline becuase you could start to frying rings and pistons.

u want ur af between 11.0 and 12.0 at wot(wide open throttle) the higher the number the leaner(more power per say) but the leaner you go the higher the egt are. but if u stock fuel and nothing to control fuel... you prob are around 10.5 to 10.8.. if boost is some what stock... dont spike to high bc the pcm will pull timing and u will be at 10.0 and wondering why u runnin rich....

at wot im still around 14, i have a 50 trim with 750 injecters, fuel pump, stage 1 ecu, never even seen it go down as low as 13. im running either 15 or 20 pounds of boost either way its the same. i also have the safc2 but dont know how to use it, a shop tuned it about a year ago but may have messed it up, not to thrilled about their work

something must be wrong. If your at 14 at wot.. your motor should have blown on pump gas..what wb do u have... if aem u dont have to calb. it but the lm1 you have to... to calb it just turn the car off unscrew the sensor off the pipe and turn the key to the on. hit calb. on the lm1 and it should read 14.7ish then plug it back in. if ur at 14 to 15 at idle then your wb should be workin right.

i dont know what wb u have. well let me know..
you have 750 injectors and ur car is lean.(as the wb says) are u gettin ping(sounds like rocks on the windshield at wot)

Kinda off topic but you can also calibrate without taking the sensor out if you mash on the gas pedal and shut the car off then leave your foot down till the car has completely stopped running. The engine will continue to pump air through the exhaust but no fuel since they ignition is off. It'll allow you to clear out any exhaust gases in there and leave clean air for ya
