Default Wideband o2 - take out or leave in

After tuning with your wideband, do you want to take the sensor out or leave it in the down pipe?

I only ask because ive had one go bad (Lm-1 bosch 3737) and I dont want my new o2 sensor going bad as well

High EGT's can damage them and as we all know the stock turbo puts out some cooking EGT's at high boost levels. Not saying that's what caused it to go bad or that it wasnt just a bad sensor but it COULD cause it to be damaged if you're stock turbo and pushing it's limits.

i dont think you have to have the lm-1 box plugged in all the time just the lc1 portion that supplies the o2 sensor with power. the reason i read is so that it warms up everytime you start the car.

yeah if you leave it in the downpipe make sure and keep it turned on, no signal means it wont warm up. Could cause extensive damage to the o2 sensor
