just for my info, never happened to me..maybe one(not sure), what exactly happen when you say you hit fuel cut off, how do you know it ???

and i think the tip must be still connected to the solenoid in to work properly (in some way) ...if you cap it i dont think it's ok, i think you have to cap the red line only at the solenoid side

let's see what other people think

Are ya sure its fuel cut? On a stock fuel system with no water/meth injection and an 18psi. spike even with it falling off a few PSI by redline witch is normal for a stock turbo a 12.1 AFR sounds about right. Espacially if ya got a map clamp the lower ya clamp SURE it gives ya timeing advance BUT it also gives ya less fuel ! Lets say ya clampped at 4.36 Volts witch is the equivlent of telling the ECU you max boost is 15 PSI, if you are REALLY boosting 18 PSI you are still only gunna have the fuel for 15 PSI. The reason we have some room to play is the ECU tries to run the car Pig ass rich at wide open throttle in like the 9 or 10.0 AFR range so ya can "trick" it by clampping down some and still be safe. Watch that wideband with no water injection I would not run it any leaner than 12.3 and watch out on cold nights check your AFR you will run leaner in cooler weather! And yes a return line kit and/or bigger S3 injectors will get ya more fuel. The AGP return kit helped me much and it works with ANY stock fuel rail.

You have alot of airflow mods and 0 fuel mods. I dont even see stage 1 to give you that added fuel. I'd definitely get some fuel setup in that car before you start messing with the mapclamp.

What were you're a/f ratio's before you installed and used the mapclamp? If they were already mid to upper 11's than you really dont have much of a reason to use the mapclamp less you get the return line.

I have the Aaron neon return line, bc, wga, etc. and i'm hitting 20psi @ 11a/f with tons of room left to lean it out. In other words, get aaron's kit.
