Default which wideband??

well i have been looking into getting a wideband a/f monitor for the car but alot of them seem outrageous in price!! what wideband system will work good for these cars and is not too expense?? If needed i can put together my own system using the parts needed....but plug and play is cool too....

Well, I just bought the PLX M-500... It was a bit pricey BUT It has a 6 channel wireless datalogger in it and I'm extremly happy with it... PLUS for another $38 you can buy a converter that takes the 5v out and converts it to 0-1v for a autometer A/F meter and every light represents .5:1 change... Very, Very nice... You can check it out at WWW.PLXDEVICES.COM

Thumbs up

Innovate LM-1

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com

45minutes of on board datalogging (5 aux channels + wideband). Don't need to jack with wireless stuff or have a laptop in the car. Also has 2 fully programmable outputs (0-1v, 1-0v, 0-3v, 5-0v, narrow band, whatever.) Requires an extra $100 input converter to log RPM so its $450 total. I have one and love it.

Innovate also has the best customer support I've ever dealt with.

Hell, the wireless is the best part.. Throw the laptop on the floor and you don't have to worry about running wires... Hmmm, PLX's datalogger has 2 speed sensors inputs (RPM, Knock, MPH) and 4 analog 0-5v inputs... It has 2 outputs also... The LM-1 is nice but I like the software of the PLX better.. I also like it becuase of the wireless feature and the small footprint of the display unit...

kid fury there are no prices on the website. How much did it cost you for all of your stuff? What are you monitoring with yours?

What else can you monitor with the innovative lm-1 besides air-fuel?

The AEM UEGO sucks, it starts at 11:1. Anything richer than that doesn't show anything.

Also, no datalogging.
