Default why is an emanage better then a safc

I have an emanage and im starting to get pissed, I read the thing in the safc install thread that says TPS vs RPM is not as good as MAP vs RPM. The safc can do either and the emanage can only do TPS vs RPM which isnt as good. Whats up with that?

MAP vs RPM is supposed to be more stable and TPS vs RPM will make each gear different.

you can do map vs rpm in the add. injector map. Which allows you to add duty cycle to the injectors, not take away duty cycle. What if I need to remove fuel, I have to use TPS vs RPM in the airflow adj map. Unless theres some setting im missing you can inform me of.

you can do map vs rpm in AIRFLOW adjustment MAP if you hook up the TPS wire to your MAP sensor's out then calibrate the e-manage TPS to 0-5v range.

Check some of my posts..

The airflow adjustment map then becomes

a 16 x 16 table

with the row side being percentages of 5v corresponding to load.

I was actually thinking of doing that. I wonder if you set the tps to a different range like 3.5-5v so that you have more adjustment points while in boost if that would work. Thoughts?

The emanage will throw a throttle undervoltage error until it reaches your 0% voltage. If you want more adjustment points during boost change the scale on the throttle side to suite your needs.
