Default where are you guys mounting your EMS???

ok so im thinking of moving my battery to the trunk like my buddy did... I know that its not ideal to get more weight on the rear tires, but i need somewhere to mount the EMS box and im guessing thats the best spot....Include pics if possible

thanks

1. why would you want to mount the ems box under the hood?....mount it in the car away from the weather if it isnt a aem....

2. you do realise what you have to do to mount a battery in the trunk and run the car down the 1/4 mile right?

Yes AEM standalone is what i am buying and i want to know where peeps are mounting it.... I could have swore i saw that the red sled put his where the battery used to be when he had that funky intake tubmani thing they custom made....

I do realize since i used to drag a 64 plymouth with the battery in the trunk!!!!

I was not sure where people were putting there boxes, and since no one is telling me where they put it i guess ill mount it to my roof

The AEM mounts where the stocker is. The stock computer gets a new bracket to mount underneath and to the left of the AEM.

Any other EMS, I would mount in the cabin.

If your running an auto, just make a bracket where the battery used to go and mount it there. DCR might even have a bracket for sale

yeah the aem mounts in the stock place and the stock ecu gets relocated.....not really a fan of how low it is and the fact you can see it in front of the wheel....the reason redsled moved it is because the auto tranny requires modifing how the cold side pipe exits....and if im not mistaken they used a 3" charge pipe to mat to that 70mm throttle body
