I managed to get an AEM Wideband (controller and sensor) for $85...I would've been stupid to pass it up eh? Anyways, do you really have to make a new hole for the wideband's O2 sensor? I thought it would replace the one closer to your turbo
If you have any staged upgrades like S1-S3 then you can use the downstream 02 sensors bung and just ziptie the stock 02 sensor. You cannot disconnect the stock 02 sensor, but you can leave it plugged in and just tie it up and out of the way. If you still have a cat on your car, make sure the wideband is before the cat otherwise you'll get a false reading.

Sporting new Nikon D40 w/18-55 & 55-200...it's a learning curve that's for sure!
Yesterday me and my friend took off my downpipe. Welded a nut onto the pipe (a hole as drilled obviously). Got it all setup and installed...working great. What should idle A/F be at? I'm bouncing inbetween 14.3 and 15.7?
Yes. I found it's a good idea just to have a location for the stock 02 sensors to go, then a 3rd one for your wideband. The wideband and the downstream 02 sensors will end up about 3-5" apart which is perfectly fine. Just make sure they are either at the 3 oclock or 6 oclock position on the pipe...if you put them too low you can have premature problems with your 02 sensors.
