where to get my s2 flashed? flight systems open?? - SRT Forums

i looked around and saw lots of old posts about a user "Stephanie" but she hasnt been on since january. so does she still do flashing cause my only dealer said 110 plus tax to flash it and i have to tow the car there. where else can i look if she is out of business or done? links would be very appreciative.

Tow? Lol No...they can get to the connectors easily and they don't need to take out your stock pcm, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Just swap the pcm's later yourself. My local dealer did it for thirty some bucks a while back you don't need to tow anything. The nice thing about the dealer doing it is that's you won't get the skim code, no big deal anyway it's not a CEL. I'm sure FSG is doing them and much cheaper than you were quoted since it's obvious your dealer doesn't understand the process. Fyi I'd look up and print the instructions off the forum first if you try a dealer.

Are we talked vin reflashing here? if so im also interested if it can be done without taking the car to the dealer.

I just got my PCM back last week from Stephanie. she is still doing Staged pcm re-flashes. its was $50 + $20 if you need '04 or '05 battery temp sensor updates. you need to send cash and pay for shipping both ways. I sent in a pre-paid label with my PCM and it worked perfect for me. its best to talk to her first so you can arrange the best methods for yourself.

Well first try and contact her. If she is still there, see if they are flashing PCM's still.

Flight Systems has been doing remanufacturing of Chrysler's computers for decades and they also did not just the SRT-4's "Stage" kit computers (as well as packaging the entire kit together and shipping to the ordering dealers) but also were responsible for the older Mopar Performance computers in the old Shelby and turbo Dodge models of the '80s and '90s. If all you need is the VIN flashed on a "Stage" computer they should still be able to hook you up.

If you need it in a hurry that $110 your dealer quoted isn't too terrible and they're likely quoting you for an hour labor. Just to flash the VIN shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes but if that quote includes installing the computer you might ask them if you drive the car there and plug the other computer in while you're parked if it would be any cheaper. Then take it back out, drive home, and permanently install it along with the sensors, injectors, etc.

I just tried emailing her at that email address and got an immediate failure... so I'm guessing she isn't still doing them. Guess off to the stealership for me.

You can call..I'd imagine they still support their PCMs and a simple reflash is a service they'll continue..someone would be a contact, as she was for all those years. Just ask the receptionist at that number.
