Default Where does DTEC pull boost #'s from?

so... where does a DTEC BC pull the boost numbers from? can i trust the numbers there more than the mechanical gauge?

i only ask this because i just installed an autometer boost gauge... to find out that the stock one was reading 7 pounds higher...

on the stock one, i showed boosting 21... but on the new autometer, max i boosted was 14.... w t f.

which do i believe?

My stock gauge was reading much higher also. Anyway, the Dtec BC has it's own boost sensor. You can plumb it in anywhere after the TB. Make sure you set up the calibration in the software. There should be a tag attached to the boost sensor that has the calibration numbers on it and the tech who checked it at turboXS.

Oh, got ya. my bad... Hmmm, can you get the calibration slip that came with it to make sure the Dtec is acurate? If so, then I would trust the Dtec and not the gauge.

Hope that helps.
