Your tuner just meant you need some type of tuning device like an safc to adjust the amount of fuel going into the engine. The Apexi SAFC/SAFC2 and NEO are all fuel computers/piggybacks. Several other types of tuning devices exist and range in price greatly depending on how many features they offer. Your best bet is to search around the forums a bit more to learn about these things. Here is a short list of the available tuners off the top of my head: turboxs's DTEC fuel computer, Greddy E-manage, AEM EMS (typically costs well over $1,000), SCT tuner tuning devices, and of course the above mentioned apexi systems. The Safc or Safc 2 devices should be adequate to give you a good basic tune.

Good Luck

If you're looking for just fuel removal for tuning (which is acceptable on most moderate builds), the SAFCII or SAFC NEO will suit you well. The latter provides more RPM ranges to correct fuel from, but both will get you in a good A/F ratio when tuned properly. It took me a good hour to get mine dialed in perfectly in 4th gear.

I see no reason for you to spend the money for an EMS with your mod list and the minimal amount of tuning you'll need to get your car running optimally. When you hit bigger turbos, port work and the like, then worry about a standalone system like the EMS.

I love turbo lag, it gives you a second to reflect about the poor decision you have just made.
