11.5-12.0 is a good range

higher than 12.0 is starting to get too lean, which is bad.

lower than 11.5 is going to really rich, which is safe but not as powerful.

when u get it on the dyno start the pull at around 3k in 4th gear. The leanest u want it to be at any point in time is around 11.8 for a safe tune. I say 11.8 b/c unless u have a wideband u have no idea what ur actual afr on the street is, or what the afr is during cold weather. Once u do a pull in 4th do another in 3rd and make sure the afr is still close to 11.8.

I would go with 12.0 across or at the leanest spot in the rpm band. That should set you around 12.5 on the street. 12.5 is the optimum afr according to many. That out to make you feel a little better on the street when doing the test pulls afterward.

12.5 w/o meth injection is very lean in my book. EGT's are already high on the stock turbo and backpressure is extremely high. 11.5-11.8 w/o meth injection or 12.1-12.4 with meth injection imho

map clamps work by setting the high limit on sensor voltage. Under that it doesn't change a thing. It's not gear dependant or rpm dependant. That would require something like an afc or an emanage for rpm dependant
