Default wanting to run 22 psi

hey im doing a rebuild on my motor and was thinkin about boring it out, with some stage 3 cams, and wanting to run 22 psi, could i adjust the boost i wanted to 22psi on the stock turbo with some 750's? and other fuel supporting mods? or how do i get around pcm control?

750's any way are to much for a stock turbo...if you plan on running e85 & FRL that would be ok, if not don't do it.

sounds like your doing some engine mods, when you start opening up the head and adding a large cam your motor will need more flow on a stock motor 18-20 psi @ red line would be max, with some cams and head work i would put that at about 16-17 psi max with a stock turbo (your gonna need a bigger turbo) now your fuel ....some 750's and a 255 pump (a clamp or safc) should do fine with some to spare, when you upgrade the tiny stock snail you will be good to go




about your stage 3 cam selection: what you will need to know is your cam's duration and overlap will need to be paired with the correct turbo (due to back pressure) a large cam will make you lose power with a small turbo ...something a little more conservative would be better and give ya better performance

whats your idea of something more conservative? say i have $2500 what should i do? brian crower stage 3 cams would slow me down if i didnt upgrade the turbo?
