Default tuning a safc 2 ????

i put in the ne points and i put everything to what it supposed to be. so i went out and i started tuning it on the lo settings everything is great. now PROBLEMS

first- when i wot the gas to the floor at 3500 in third i am hitting 10 afrs. then leans out to 11.4 does this sound right??

second-i am in 4th at 3000 rpms and i wot the gas and about 5 grand it spits hard and is at 10 afrs. i guess this is because i am to rich and i am pouring in to much gas.

third-i havent even touch the hi settings yet. do i need to??

i have high settings at 40 and low at 10.

after i do all this and lean it out i can turn up the boost right??

i have looked all over the forums. and have not found anything about tuning but a bunch of stuff about installing it. thanks

Your tune will be directly influenced by the amount of boost you run... so no.

Thanks man! Hopefully it serves as inspiration to some, I know seeing what others were able to accomplish was enough for me... The numbers have improved a little bit since that video, closer to 350hp and 355tq now.

Good luck with the tunning... sounds like you're getting there

i have been seeing a lot of posts within the past few months about people not so confident about how to tune SAFC-II/AFC Neo. ive been tuning by myself the whole time ive had my car and have been very happy with the results. i am helping my friend install his 50 trim kit this weekend, im going to tune the car for him, i think im going to make a video for the how-to section on how to tune on SAFC so people can maybe feel a little more confident about going out there and tuning by themselves. hopefully the moderators add it to the approved section. ill link this thread to the video so you can check it out. but you seem like you are getting at the right ideas on how to tune so keep it up man!!
