I just purchased a LM-1 wideband (great product) the question is, i'm going to tune it for 12.1 on the wideband. Do I need to check the voltage? Or as long as the air/fuel is in a safe range, do I need to check the voltage?

I did both and recorded the map voltage as a point of reference for later. But it is not necessary. Your AFR is what it is.
