my srt-4 said "Spendin all your money on me and spendin’ time on me"???
youre gonna want to use both, ideally. the A/F meter will keep you informed while you are driving it down the highway, and the dyno will give you proven HP and TQ results as you tune it. I'd say slap your gauge set together first so you can safely tune it and then drive to the dyno. once you get there, tune it for power. the dyno will still read AF, so you can ensure a safe mixture all the while....or you can just give up and mail it to me and let me tune my car with it instead....LOL
oh, also not to mention that the dyno is going to give you numbers based on your car just sitting there on the dyno itself. things (wheel HP versus the forces of nature) will change once you start to factor in drag on the car with speed, that is why you will want to use BOTH methods to safely tune it.
good idea. but hey, if he has access to a decent track or some good private property, who's to say he cant use that? i like street tuning because it is free...im a cheap bastard....see my sig for mods list and you will understand....LOL no money for dyno. i am going to the dyno for the first time ever next week....wish me luck for nice numbers.
all of the above. well one or the other on the wideband. one with logging is the best but i own and used the aem one. You take the dyno and sniffer numbers against your installed onboard. see how much they differ .1 or .2 off on the a/f etc. Dyno guys wanna tune it extra fat (rich) so they dont blow up your car and look bad. You can tweak it more at your discretion or if you take the car to the track and use race gas you can up your boost a tad for more a competitive edge. Get to know your car and yourself operating it and that will be better than a 10hp change on a dyno anyday. I notice your car is still stock turbo, I'd not play with the afc settings a lot until i changed the injectors in preperation for a big turbo setup.

whats wrong with his injectors? he has S2....theyre 688's arent they? that will flow pretty good if al he trying to do is lean it out a bit and crank hiw boost up a tad. its not like hes trying to shoot for 500 HP on the stocker...or is he? LOL
tnks alot, i will buy a wideban, i think Innovate Motorsports Wide Band Air Fuel Meter is better than aem wideban gauge, after I will to the dyno right? but i need a long way, how fast for a good tuning 150 mph???
If you still decide to tune on a dyno instead of on the street, make sure you tune for a low A/F ratio since it will be a lot higher on the street. People have gone from about 10.5 max on the dyno to about 11.5 on the street. Just make sure to watch your A/F ratio closely after the dyno tune or you could run way too lean. You drive on the road, so it is always best to use the road to tune.

i would tune it on the street with inovations widebad, i want to know my limits on lean and rich
