mike,

while the uego is definitely a nice piece, it's not all that great for tuning, as driving and watching and figuring in where to make adjustments is going to be a pain.

I'd probably suggest ditching the aem and going with something along the lines of a zeitronix. Wideband w/ datalogging capabilities. That way you can correlate the air/fuel to boost/rpm/egt and figure in which adjustments need to be made.

I'm actually in talks with zeitronix right now on getting a group buy going. Don't know how I'm going to let srtforums know about it with their advertising rules, so I'm not going to post any pricing about it here.

zeitronix kinda sucks when coupled with the Profec E-01. It's 5v analog output is lopey, not completely linear like the PLX ones.

right, but he's not running an e-01. He's using a s-afc. In that sense, I'd just run the zeitronix next to it, using a laptop for the graphical displays and then you can 100% pinpoint any problem areas and go and make adjustments. The aem just doesn't have the ability to show u the bar graphs with the gauge, as it's real time. So he has to look at the gauge while running it hard, find a problem area, look at the tach quickly to note it's place, make that adjustment and try again.

Or do 1 hard complete pull logging with the zeitronix, pinpoint problem areas, go back and make said adjustments, rinse and repeat. Extremely simply and would probably be finished in 1/8 of the time it'd take it with the aem and an afc.
