Default Tuning Advice

So Im kinda new to this whole DSP stuff, and from what I have been reading a few companies have mastered the PCM controlled boost with the DSP. Is this true? If so what is suggested to be better for driveability, PCM Controlled boost or Non PCM controlled boost? The more I read about PCM boost the more I like it. I am in Germany now, and am returning to the states in around 10 or so months, I have a 05 NSRT with 18000 miles on it. I am buying all of the nessesary stuff to go big turbo. I already have and AGP 50t turbo kit ready to go on when I get back home. Now My questions is how to tune, I am very mechanically inclined and do not mind testing and tuning. I just want to make the best decision for controlling everything. Any input would help. Thanks in advance.

I think its a great idea for I'm a huge fan of PCM boost control and the PCM is fully capable. The only issue is the needed changes to the PCM are only available to CMR tuners. So it might take quite a bit of trial and error(aka: time and money) to get the external waste-gate under predictable control.

TDS has some experience with this.
