Please read the following VERY carefully.

Do some reading and research before you tell people they're wrong.

Tell me if it said our car has a wideband, or that the factory o2 is a wideband, or that the factory o2 will read that range linearly. No, it doesn't say any of that!! The narrowband in our car has the voltage swing to measure that range, but it is not nearly as accurate as a wideband. I know the difference between a narrowband and a wideband.

Now that we have that straightened out, here an example of volkswagons that used widebands for the upstream and the bosch part number for it. Go ahead and call your local car parts store and verify.

sour kraut, there is no point arguing with these new kids, especially if you have facts. afterall, he responded look it up. that means you and i are wrong.

if the range of an o2 sensor is 13.5-16 how can we sucessfully tune for over 16:1 or even 17:1 lean cruise with the factory sensor?

I know, but it's been a bad day and he pissed me off. I usually have a very long fuse. My one thought is, "why argue with a moderator when he can change your post????"

Ya, hooked up the SCANTOOL tonight, it was only ranging from 2-4 volts, there were 3 differant O2 readings on the scantool.

Guees I have to wait to buy a wideband.
