Default tune to make exhaust pop?

hey if we are using aftermarket fuel set-up apex, dtech in my case.. Is their a way of tuning it where u pop more often or harder. from my experience the better tune u run the less pops u get any settings to play with to make it pop more. I've heard its from running rich but also the afterfire can we make that happen more?

Wow this is the gayest post ever. You said in your post that you think the better the tune, the less pops, so why in the fuck would you want to lessen a tune to make more gay noises? I swear I'm glad I'm not a fucking retard. Tune the car to run at its best and be happy with it for gods sake.

your tune has jack shit to do w/ the pops.

your car SHOULD not pop under decel at all. your injectors shut off during deceleration.
again it has NOTHING to do w/ a tune...

s1/2 do that popping bullshit because the mopar engineers set it up so it dumps fuel during decel. retarded imo.

this thread is fuckin retarded.

I have stage 2 and my shit pops like crazy on decel, I bought a Perrin exhaust just to quit it down. If i was stock, or had another exhaust it would pop so loud it would be heard for a mile.

I was trying to clear something up with a guy at my work who said it was a setting in the dtec that makes it happen. I'm sorry you are perfect and the smartest person on the forums and have to be an asshole about asking questions so...

I for one like the pops. I treat it like a trade mark sound of my car. Why call a guy retard if he likes something you don't?

Anyway, I looked at this thread to see if tuning my car with detech would remove the pops, that is something that I don't want. Anybody have any answers?

To get more popping, you actually have to change a setting in the computer to make it pop. Mopar actually just turned it on sooner in their staged upgrades. When you are in decel, it turns the injectors off and that's it. From my experience, you have to either get a stand alone like SCT (to change the settings), or get a staged computer. I don't know any other way to do it. There might be, but I don't know of any.

I'm only an asshole to people who ask stupid questions. People who do things for all the wrong reasons get under my skin.

This is why I'm an asshole. Not because someone likes something I don't, but because you don't want to better your car with a good tune simply because you dont want a sound to go away, a usless annoying sound. You'd rather have that then a better, stronger, maybe safer running car. This is why I'm an asshole.
