Ok Hes a question I have been looking for a answer for. Timing and fuel is a big deal when it comes to power so, heres two setups would one be more powerful because it will be giving more timing. These are not real both say 20 psi boost.
1. Say 40psi on the fuel regulator clamped at 4.2V making a 12.0 air fuel ratio
2 35psi on fuel reg. clamped at 4.7V making a 12.0 air fuel ratio.
Would one be stronger than the other. I am wondering this because I just got a dtec and withh be now using it for fuel control instead of my mapclamp. What do you guys think...

Vtec and Chuck Norris's round house kick is a lot alike.... when it hits its all over!!
The last thing you should be worried about is VTEC!! Wait till the turbo spools
Next time your having a bad day imagine this:
You are a siamese twin.
Your brother, atttached to your shoulder is gay.
You are not.
He has a date coming over tonite.
You only have one ass!!!
More timing does not mean more power. Ignition timing needs to be such that peak cylinder pressure occurs somewhere around 15 degrees after TDC. To figure what timing you need to achive that you need either really expensive test equipment or put it on the dyno
The least amount of ignition advance that produces the most torque is usually what you want.
^^^this is correct, and with that being said, try for a clamp around 4.6 volts, this usually produces the best timing, and then adjust the fp to such that at the 4.6 volts you have the a/f you want
How would I go about tuning for Voltage with the dtec. I am new to it. To you guys know where theres like a how to for the dtec on tuning it. I get a little confused on tuning at different throttle %s
