tach adapter

ok, so i know we need a tach adapter for the safc neo, but do we also need it for the zeitronix wideband?

if you want to be able to monitor rpms when you log your data files, yes....

so, got a call from the shop today saying they have to remove my dtec wires to install the zeitronix. they said the zeitronix is a similar system to dtec and that it serves no purpose to run both. am i right or completely misinformed? i told the guy the dtec wires come out when the neo goes in
