Question Stock Ecu And Injector Swap To Pt Turbo?

I Am Putting Stage 2 On My Srt-4. Can The Stock Ecu And Injectors
Go On Pt Turbo? I Know It Is The 2.4 Like Mine But I Don't Know The
Difference In The Motors If Any. I Was Going To Give My Father My Stuff To Install On His Pt Turbo. I Understand The Ecu Would Have To Be Reflashed But Would This Work And Would There Be Any Problems Because Of It. Also What Boost Does The Pt Run Because This Might Be A Problem With To Much Fuel Being Delivered.

More details needed:

What stage is the PCM you are taking off of the SRT?

What model and year is the PT, Turbo (GT, DC) or Turbo Lite (LE, TE)

What transmission is in the PT?

Injectors are the same at the same year and stage level, so if the PT is an 04 or newer, it will have the same injectors as a stage0/1 SRT4 (stage 1 only for 2003).

If the PT is an 03, the injectors might help, or they might just cause him to run ritch all the time. Best to not do that without upgrading to stage 1 or reflashing his PCM with an 04 flash.

If the PT is a Turbo Lite (TE or LE) then he would definitely get more power from a new PCM (like 50 HP), but the PCM won't work because of trannie.

I would not try to put an SRT4 PCM on a PT. I heard of one person who said he did it with success, but every one else (including a DCX engineer) said that it would break things, like Cruise control, perhaps AC, and that's even if it's a manual transmission.

If he has a GT or DC that's an 04 or 05, don't bother. If it's an 03, try to get the 04 PCM flash (free from some dealers), if it's a turbo lite, buy the stage 1. Sell your SRT4 stuff to help raise money, and then buy it from HaynesSpeedShop.com.
