Default SAFC see throttle %'s but TPS doesn't??? bought it like this? help

as it says guys..the car starts kinda "hard" like doesnt give you that nice growl upon start up..its kinda like...::turn key on::: ba ba vrom. instead of vroooooooom idle idle idle lol.

on my SAFC it shows the throttle percentage perfect. but using an obd2 reader ( snap on ) its saying the TPS has no signal? but its all wired up and plugged in..thus causing me to have a TPS code and as well as not being able to use my N2mb wot box, for the fact it does not see any throttle..?? i got the car like this? any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

I have no experience with that piggyback , but if it is wired between the TPS % the ECU , then it sounds like the signal is lost between SAFC & ECU . If you have a wot box & it wont cut spark at wot shifts , then the fault is probably a splice between SAFC & wot box . Do you have the 3.0 inteface software for the wot box ? if so it can tell you your TPS voltage when you hit the Read button in the interface . that might help pinpoint the short .

typically the tps input on a safc is wired into the map sensor so its not actually tps you are seeing. if you a wotbox on the car use a voltmeter on the blue wire and see what the voltage is.if you show 0v then the tps signal wire is broken..if you show 5v then the ground wire to the sensor is broken

you should read around .75v at idle and around 3.8v at wot

thanks for the response guys! It was actually the 5v wire that was internally broken. The insulation looked fine, but the wire inside somehow broke and was completely NOT touching. well took it out, solder a new wire in and BAM the car drives so much better now lol. I can actually not struggle with my act 6 puck from a dead stop anymore, its great!!

the n2mb works great, i have the 2 step set at 3, and the wot box set on "auto". I haven't tried the wot shifts yet and honestly probably wont. For the fact i hate even beating the car at all lol ( i know hypocrite right! ) kind of like buying nitrous, installing it and never using it lol.

Again thank you very much for helping!

no problem i reread my post and forgot to mention to check the 5v supply too..my bad

wotshifting is addicting and you should try it its a heck of a lot easier on the car than lifting
