Default Running Rich at cruise AFTER boost???

Well I'm in the process of tuning my map clamp but wanted to get a base line on the cars behavior both in cruising and boost, mostly to guage how accurate my a/f gauge is.

On start up it sits normal stoich/rich line about 14 or so in my log

BUT

After words, it seems the car stays rich even if I'm just cruising. Now my last 2 turbo cars were built so I'm not sure if this is just how the engineers wanted it. Is anyone else experiencing this, I figured after a few mins or so it would go back to 14.7 or so but it seems to stay on the rich side.

Is this normal behavior or does it sound like my wb sensor needs to be replaced.

Dude are you serious? The higher the number on the wideband the leaner it is. You want your afr's around 11.8 while in boost.

dude you are fuckin SCARY lean.

learn how to read the wideband, and a) lower your fuckin boost b) add more fuel c) learn how to tune/log a car properly.

........again. STOCK boost, havent put the WGA on yet, I know how to tune and log a car properly. Hence why I said, BASELINE.

AND

A) My boost is pcm controlled using the stock wga
B) Why, fuel was never touched and actually...adding fuel would just further the issue that I am asking about.
C) Well since Im not tuning anything I guess I have to learn how to log properly...oh just looking at the read out on my laptop, k done.

My question, only question, was if it was normal my afrs stayed rich after boosting even when I was cruising, that was it. I didn't even say I upped my boost or if my car was lean, did you read anything I wrote before chiming in.

Im sure he read it but it just didnt make since. 16+ means your staying lean which is probably a bad pump. Unless your talking about the when it goes into 02 on the decel...

Im sure he was trying to help, but I said in the 2nd post I just typed it backwords. Everything is reading correctly, goes lean on decel when the injectors are turned off, goes rich under boost and hovers around 14.5-14.9 or so at idle.

I was just curious if anyone elses car seems to go rich after boost, I don't mean right after but I mean mins later it doesnt return to 14

I apologize I've been up all night working on this >< changed my afr gauge out with 2 different ones, re-ran the wires and free air calibrated the sensor about 5 times.

After u have been in boost where are your afr's? You threw 16 out there so we thought u meant lean. how rich we talking like 13's 12's mine does it for a second or 2 sometimes since the walboro went in. But i also have a modded fuel system.

kinda almost sounds like my problem, but mine always does it no matter if I boost or not. Like when I'm on the freeway and it reads 13.6-14.0 even with the cruise controll on with less than 10% throttle....makes no sense to me.

Yep just redid it and after a good WOT pull it will sit at 11-12 until I turn her off for awhile. WOT to 10 nearly on the dot, let off tops the chart lean and then goes to sitting around 12 idle/cruise.

Ill get the log up in the mourning, laptop battery finally gave up on me
