Default Paging Psi-Fi...............

You guys posted in onother thread that your suge valve was opening above 17 psi to bleed off boost.

How did you guys verify it was opening? I put a meter on the surge valve electrical connector on my car and at no time during repeated 17-18 psi runs did the pcm command it to open. It was only commanded to open during rapid throttle closure.

I also noticed you guys say that hooking up manifold source to the back of the surge valve will keep it closed under high boost. Isn't that whats ported to the back side if the pcm commands it to open? To me that means the surge valve couldn't open under high boost even if it was commanded to.

Thanks. I'm trying to learn as much as I can.
