I just got my engine swap done today.......but now I'm getting very little boost about 5 usually got 12-14. And I barely hear my blow off valve!!!
Reason I needed a engine swap was due to the fact that my engine locked.
Lack of oil going into the old engine.
Could this have damaged my turbo??
I'm lost now guys!!! So frustrated!! The new engines sounds and runs good.......but lacking power cuz.......no boost!!!
What might be the problem?? What should I check?
AHHHHH!!!!! Any help will be very appreciated!!

yes this could and probably has damaged you turbo. take off your intake and see if the turbo has any shaft play. (put your finger on the nut in the center of the compressor housing and fins of the turbo and see how much it moves. and check to see if the fins spin freely.

If your engine suffered oil starvation , your turbo prolly did too .
I will assume you did a boost leak test . If not , do one , it will eliminate that variable . Is it possible the soliniods & vac/boost line got installed incorrectly? Is youe ECU in limp-mode ? As mentioned above , check turbo for shaft play . These are the things I would check first .
Good luck !

Only two things I can think of is excessive oil loss led to siezure of turbo bearings. If you remove your intake and use a small inspection mirror while the engine is running and the turbo is spinning, you don't have smoke coming from the exhaust then check your primary Vacuum feed line going to the Boost Solenoid.
You have a bunch of color code Vac lines. Red going to bypass valve (if equipped) and so forth. Where they meet is the solenoid (the solenoid has numbers 1,2,3,4 etc on it). There is a line running from the intake manifold to this solenoid, check for leaks or connection. Failure of this line will keep both the bov from opening upon throttle closure and prevent the wastegate from closing. If you are building only small amount of boost and have no Bov it is more than likely this line.
