need SAFC TPS problem input.

ok so my TPS % is jumping around frantically from 0% up to 30% while cruising around. this is checking by using the 'monitor' mode of the safc.

is it suppose to be like that? it is tapped into my map sensor per the instructions, but it seems very inaccurate since it is jumping % all over the place. can someone tell me if that is normal.

when comparing to my apexi AVCR, the TPS% shows a smooth accurate percentage..but that is based off of the TPS wiring, not the map.

so if the safc is ran off the map and not TPS, how does it know when it is over xx% on the TPS sensor in order to switch from low to high?


i need to fix this issue before thurs night...


it is the Grey wire...it ties into the green/red wire (map sensor). so what value is that suppose to show on the display in monitor mode? will it display the values in Volts instead of percentage?



do i need to resolder my connection to the map, or move that wire to orange/blue wire?

Remember you have it wired up to the map sensor. Your TPS isn't gong to be accurate sense it's actually reading off the map sensor instead of the TPS.

with the car off but the power on (accessory or wtf ever) so the safc is on, what is your throttle position say? that's at 0 boost/vacuum, good place to start...
