Knock Retard
Quick question.
I have a Mopar stage 3 car with some bolt ons. I run 94 Sunoco all the time.
SCT tuned.
1 step colder iridium plugs gapped to .032"
I noticed that I don't get any knock when first driving the car (after it is warm of course).
After a few minutes of spirited driving, I will get knock all time time (even at part throttle). 1 to 3 degrees of knock retard on my aeroforce scangauge.
It can be cool outside, and coolant temps are low (180 t-stat), but it will knock even at 20% throttle.
After 20 minutes of driving it dissapears until i start driving hard again.
It even did C16 at the track.. (light throttle knock of 3 degrees) for about 15minuts after my run and then it dissapeared.
Is this normal?
