Will the PCM fight if the emanage tries to edit timing? i am trying a full emanage setup with injector and ignition harness to see what i can yield.

The ignition functions do not work Natively. Altough with an "adapter" they could. For now everyone is using MAP Voltage for the only means of any "timing" control. The injector harness is handy for +/- duty cycle. Just hang on to that ignition harness.

If you try to connect the ignition harness directly to the SRT you will fry the Ignition IC in the E-Manage. The rest of the E-Manage should still work just fine. May be helpful if anyone reading this has done that!

For the ignition harness to work, you have to build your self an ignition modual. When I find time ill see if i build one up. I dont think there is a need for this though because your already getting a nice 22deg timing with the clamp set. Eventualy you will get knock when you run very high boost with that much timing so to lower the timine, you will have to raise the clamp voltage higher. The kewl thing is that you can vary the clamp per RPM so you can run aggressive down low but pull it up top.

P.S.

Yo!

Quick question for you guys.

I just installed 750cc injectors and I'm trying to get it to idle alright.

I went into the parameters and put in 500cc's as the original injectors and 750cc's as the new ones. It still idles very rough.

I also went into the airflow adjustment map and took out as much as -20 and it didnt help.

Any suggestions?

Also, what parameters should I be using with my 50trim kit. I'm thinking "airflow adjustment" "add injector" some people say to also use the "boost limiter cut" as a map clamps while others have said that you dont need it with the injector correction. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I have a question...

How do I get a item in the far left reference colomn of the airflow adj. screen? All I get is the RPM across the top. Theres nothing to adjust to in the left column?

Also...

Anyone else have the issue of the part throttle with inj correction, it will at times lean out to the typ 20A/F and then the car stumbes. It does this even while I am at about 1200 rpm in like 2nd and start to give it throttle slowly. It quickly get very rich though after it stumbles and goes in to the 12-10A/F.

I am getting a little irritated at the whole fuel issue's I am having. I watch the A/F go from like 14.6 down to 12 and back up to like 14.6 while at a idle. Then when I am cruising its doing the variation of staying at 14.6 then it goes up to the 20 and back down. Very frustrating.

Anyone else have this issue?

I am thinking of riding my self of the eman and just clamping with the e-01 and then doing a real regulator boost adj.

Robert, let me know if you want to swing by one of these days.. Let's plug it back to the laptop again and see if it's showing different with the greddy software (airflow adjustment map).

At least, that will rule out the e-manage (and point towards a config issue with the e-01).
