The map sensor that comes with the E-01 is a 3 bar. Problem is, the e-manage uses the stock map sensor to tune unless you purchase the optional link from the e-01 to the e-manage for the 3 bar sensor. This allows the e-manage to use the e-01's map sensor rather than the stock one.
You need this in order to run over 18psi. Most places that carry Greddy stuff can get it for you. It's called "PRofec E-01 Pressure Sensor Harness" Should be $20-$25.
ok..now what hector said makes more sense...and it saves $95
Thanks

yes what scooby said, instead of going with an outboard MAP sensor for an additional $125 you use the Pressure sensor that comes with the Profec E01 to get your pressure readings. It doubles up as a MAP sensor for the Emanage but only if connected to the E01 with the extra harness.
Thanks Silverscooby and NIVO88T!!
I did buy the emanage, injector harness, and the pressure sensor harness today from Peformance Autowerks (their local for me) one of our supporting vendors too. I wasnt sure if I needed that extra pressure sensor harness, but Im glad I got it! They had to order the e-o1 though. Now I just need that and a wideband controller and Im all set. Oh, and my AGP turbo kit (Im counting the days)

so are all you guys using the TPS or are you doing the AFC trick of using MAP voltage for the TPS in signal to the emanage?
i haven't got mine yet or looked at the software but the impression i'm getting is you get a second map in the software to use when you have the pressure sensor installed, thereby making the MAP/TPS trick unnecessary
I followed the instructions somewhere above in this thread...works like a charm. I've left everything alone for now as my wideband isn't in yet, but so far no troubles with monitoring the engine.

Alot of people are just clamping the map and adding fuel after 15 psi or so..
Quick question: If I set up my emanage exactly as above, does this mean that it will be running as if it werent even there? (ie. no additional fuel, timing, etc) The car is stock and I would just like to have my emanage installed and running before I started doing any mods.
