I have the e-01 Center Unit, "brain," installed inside of the driver's side fuse box area. If you open up the panel and look inside, you will see a sloping surface. I put velcro on the bottom of the e-01 Center Unit and velcro on the sloped area.
Chad (SY04SRT4) is currently installing the e-01 in my car and tuning it for me.

I would use the injector harness. Just tuning off the map you will only be able to correct fuel out and only under any "clamped" voltage. With the injector harness you configure it's own 16x16 fuel map! It adds fuel by holding the injectors open longer (per your config) on each pulse!

FrountMounted - I can give you a link if you PM me! That goes for anyone too...want the pirated copy, PM me! I don't want to post any "warez" on the forums! It's also easy to find through google and on the E-Manage Yahoo Group! The support tool is the software interface you need to use your laptop to tune/config/log E-Manage. You still need the cable though! You can also use the support tool for flashing different firmware to the E-Manage. The E-01 can tune the E-Manage but the support tool is way more in depth!
I recommend anyone intrested in the E-Manage read/join the Yahoo group E-Manage! It's a great place for information/sources. There are people in the group that sell the chip cables for cheap!

I hate to do this...I thought I had a handle on it in another thread but for some reason i can't make sense of it anymore.
If you clamp the voltage with emanage and the profec combo. What is the need for the optional pressure sensor?
Is it that the stock MAP sensor won't give a signal above 18 PSI that the emanage can use or is it some thing in the S1 PCM that prevents it from making changes in spite of adding the piggy back?
Thanks again you guys for taking all this time to help. I know many have said it before and many more don't appreciate it. But I do appreciate the patience you guys give to the forums with all the free support and help.
Your car can you register 18psi (unless you ahve s2). SO emanage can only tune up to 18psi. UNLESS you get the greddy 3bar map sensor OR use the pressure sensor harness to go into the eo1. This allows emanage to use eo1 3bar map.

yeah when you said it last night Hector it made perfect sense...then i screwed up and went to sleep. now it seems all foggy to me.
so its the MAP sensor causing the issue...not the PCM. Now it makes sense
*writes this on his forehead*
I'll just save up the extra money and get the greddy sensor as well when the time comes...that way I don't have to think about it.
Does this change how it will get wired in at all?

So you are saying If I get the emanage and eo1, and want to tune above 18psi, I will need the optional pressure sensor harness to go between the emanage and the eo1?
I thought I read somewhere that the emanage can get that info from the eo1 via the USB cable, no?
I have the emanage sitting on my bench and I see the pressure sensor plug, but my e01 isnt here yet, so I wouldnt know if the e01 has the plug for this or not. Or if it just uses the USB cable to read psi through the e01.
Thanks for any more help.

i think its the profec's sensor thats the problem...its only good to 2 bar...so you need the 3 bar sensor for the profec, and you can read boost using the e01 to emanage connection that way. as for the USB...i thought that only transferred maps from the e01 to the emanage?
i'm no expert, and I am not 100% on that...hector, Chad and Nivo are the ones in the know...
I've got the e01...you have connections for display, USB, power, COM, and harness (external input harness)
