i have a few q's refrencing the e manage...

1) the staged ecu's take away certin CEL's. (partial throttle overboost, o2 sensor, etc.)
does the e-manage remove these also?
2) how hard is the install on a scale from 1-10?
3) cost effectiveness... emanage vs stage 1 ecu/AFC-neo
4) reliability. i drive my car everyday, and i have a 3 yo son. i cant be stranded anywhere...
5)and im stock(plus intake, exhaust, mm, tranny m, booger bushings) what gain can i expect with a proper tune?(i have an agp wg, but will intall w/ ecu)

thanks.

does the e-manage remove these also?No it wont take away any CEL's..

2) how hard is the install on a scale from 1-10? Not hard .. just time consuming.. I would say an 8

3) cost effectiveness... emanage vs stage 1 ecu/AFC-neo It all depends on what you are looking for, and what will be in the Future for your car.. Big turbo, ect...

4) reliability. i drive my car everyday, and i have a 3 yo son. i cant be stranded anywhere... If installed correctly.. you wont have any problems what so ever...

5)and im stock(plus intake, exhaust, mm, tranny m, booger bushings) what gain can i expect with a proper tune?(i have an agp wg, but will intall w/ ecu) Gains are minimal to the eyes with the mods you have.. you'll provably see about 5-10whp gain throught the power band.. minimal power changes but you'll fell it.. since you'll be bringing up the boost.. thats where you'll notice the diference.

Hope this helps...

*BUMP* to revive a really long and really interesting thread

I recently bought a used '04 with bolt ons. Car runs somewhat querky but it feels fast. No extra monitoring equipment on this car what so ever. I did find a e-manage under the carpet next to the clutch pedal The green light is on, the dials are all centered on the outside, but havent looked on the inside the the other switched mentioned in the instructions (which I did find the manual on the greddy web site. I have no laptop and no support cable and software. I have no idea what its doing as far as piggy backing the fuel. I have been tempted to shut the car off, disconnect and maybe even reset the dtc's and adaptive memory. Then go for a test drive and see if it changes. I would like to sell it and go for the ptp unit. I like the idea of the autotune and not personally owning any ptp products, I would suspect that its good stuff. I am no newb to working on cars (Ase master cert. auto technician) but I dont think unplugging it would make a dang bit of difference. But you guys are the expert on this unit so I want yall's opinions. Thanks so much in advance

Alright guys I seem to have some issues with my idle A/F ratios. For the last couple months I've been in the low 13s and mid 13s. It was doable. Now I am at low 12s, I'm saying, 12.0-12.3. It smells like pure fuel idling. Cruise AFR and WOT AFR are in tune and good to go. I can't seem to figure out how to adjust the AFR at idle to lean it up a bit. I've tried messing with the airflow tables but it doesn't seem to have any affect. Any help is appreciated.

Messed with the airflow tables 500-1500 RPMS, put them all to -50 and AFR at idle are 13.5-14.2. Won't let me take away any more fuel I guess. Anyway to get her up to 14.7? At least now it doesn't smell like pure fuel.

Need help with emanage install. I have an E.D. Emanage unit that I bought 3rd hand but never installed. The wiring harness seems to match the install instructions here, except for the injector connections. Does anyone have a picture of an emanage harness or can tell me the position of the injector connections based on the positions.

I sent a PM to E.D. but no help there. They told me that the colors were changed so that he can determine if a unit came from them but they don't have the info available anymore.

A close up pic of the harness would help if anyone has it.

Does anyone in the south florida area have the cable that goes from the emanage to the laptop. I have been asking for the last two weeks on floridasrtoc.com and it doesnt seem like anyone has one over there. Just wondering, i would like to borrow it if at all possible to tune a homeboys car or if someone is selling one i would be very interested in purchasing it.
