Default DTEC MAP sensor high

i have a dtec installed and the car runs slightly leaner then without it even though the fuel map is all set to zero. i started bumping up the fuel and if i go to high the car jerks and shows a check engin lite with the po108 code(map/baro sensor high) whats the deal? bad soldering connection?

ok in case anyone is reading this it seems that if the SRT's PCM sees more then 4.92v for more then 1.7 secs it will throw that code (p0108) but now the question, is there a way to bypass this or do we have to live within the max volt setting of 4.92 even though the dtec will put out 5v flat? makes it kind of hard to tune if you pushing your fuel system huh. if any one has found a way around this or even lives with it let me know. i thought i would have herd more from the dtec forums about this it seems like it would be a common problem

You cannot go positive on the dTech, only take out fuel. trust me, been there.

do not add fuel with piggyback controllers. this has been covered ten million times.

BTW, this is a common problem among piggyback owners. Everybody thinks an safc or dtec is a great tuner, which they are, but you NEED MORE FUEL. get a returnline or bigger injectors, then see how the dtec performs.

Underboost or just cruising? If you try to add fuel with a piggy back the pcm sees >18psi(assuming you have the stock map sensor) and will retard the shit out of timing.

You need to turn your boost down or add fuel.
